Private Label Diaper Manufacturer Private Treaty Sale

A major private label diaper manufacturing company engaged with Rider Opportunity Group to help them expand their core diaper manufacturing business while exiting the feminine care product business. After researching the market, we discovered there were only 8 diaper manufacturers using the type and brand of modern diaper production equipment employed by our client. We contacted all 8 companies as well as other producers who might be interested in switching to this technology. The process equipment was sold by private treaty in 3 negotiated transactions. The private treaty approach maximized the recovery value and avoided an auction situation which has an uncertain outcome. To complicate matters, part of the sale involved real estate with a tight closing date. We orchestrated the complex negotiations and all three transactions successfully closed on time.
